The Emperor: Akihiko Sanada

Akihiko is a senior at Gekkoukan High and has the admiration of a large portion of the female student body. He is captain of the school's boxing team and therefore is also well respected by male students as well. Akihiko is usually calm, collected and serious. When he is up against a good opponent, however, he is clearly excited for a challenge! He has a tendency to treat fighting Shadows like a game as a result, but his heart is in the right place. Akihiko clearly cares about other people and is willing to do whatever it takes in order to ensure no lives are lost. Despite his usual calm and confident atmosphere, Akihiko is actually holding on to terrible feelings of guilt and a powerful desire for strength. What could have happened to him in the past to cause this...?
